It’s time for another Create & Share Challenge series post, where a group of bloggers gets together each month to share a similar project. You may remember our DIY fall pillows or tray makeovers from earlier this year.
We’re back today with Thanksgiving tables.
I love this time of year, but it’s also really busy! We have a lot going on, and creating an elaborate Thanksgiving tablescape just isn’t going to happen this year.
But I still wanted our table to look festive. So I came up with an easy Thanksgiving place setting that took me less than five minutes.
Seriously, setting the table took longer than making these place cards.

All you need for this project?
- Fake leaves
- A black Sharpie
Write each person’s name on a leaf and enjoy.
So easy, right? If you’re running out of time before Thanksgiving like I was, hopefully, this helps save you some time!
Be sure to check out the other bloggers’ Thanksgiving table settings. They’re gorgeous!

Meg this is such a simple project but is such a wonderful addition to a Thanksgiving table. I would think this would be great way to also have people involved and they could write their own name and what they are thankful for too. Thanks for the idea! Pinning and Sharing.

Such a great idea for a last minute place-card! Anyone could do this with real or faux leaves. Love it!

Thanks, Kathy! Could definitely do with real leaves, except it snowed here over the weekend, so I’m glad I had fake ones! 🙂
